Some SUVs come with 4 wheel drive, whereas some with only 2 wheel drive.

I think so, waaaaay too big back to front. We didn’t get a chance to “properly” install it, we put the base in there, buckled it and I held it at the right angle (according to the bubbles) from the drivers seat while DH (dear husband) tried to put the carrier in. We couldnt find a way to adjust the angle otherwise and didnt have the manual. Once in, the passenger seat went back and smashed fully into the carrier and didnt “click” into place, so the passenger seat was now dangerously loose and unlocked. :/

We are currently a one car family so DH (dear husband) and I have been car browsing for quite a while and recently have been car shopping. We have narrowed it down between a 2017 Jeep Cherokee and 2013 BMW X3. Both have all of the bells and whistles we want, but the Jeep is brand new and about $10k more expensive than the 2013 BMW X3 that we are looking at. We figure that insurance, maintanence,and gas for the Cherokee would be cheaper and it would essentially even out over time anyway. We also plan on keeping this car for DD (dear daughter) to drive in 12ish years so we want something that will last.

Yesterday, “central locking system” button doesn’t work. Neither does the hazard button next to it. I checked all three fuses and they’re fine. WTF?! UPDATE: Not exactly sure how to explain what it is still, but apparently a little latch that is activated when you push the lock/hazard buttons is broken. My husband jerry rigged it with tape, but that’s only temporary. So now the little button casing just sits outside of its cubbyhole, and I use it that way. And why don’t the doors lock when you begin to drive anyway? Even my old Fords did that!

I’ve often thought there should be a minimum age requirement for police. At least 35 years old before they can carry a gun along with very strict, psychological high standards. My experience (and decision) was that if I was going to spend an afternoon underneath the car removing the actuator motor and taking it apart I did not want to risk the free fix failing at some point and having to do it all over again. I admit that I a Mercedes fanboy and when I started off my car quest I was dead set on a W204. Test drove a few and even got to test newer CLA and C300, while I connected much more with these cars and prefer the interior of these over them all. the driver feel was still just as bad (but I expected it). Much more of a “boaty” type feel that I don mind as the drive was smooth and subtle and would have been fine with if I never test drove the ATS. Absolutely, we are in a totally difference place now or we wouldn even be considering the BMW DH had a large increase in income and we over half way to debt free. We could buy a BMW cash with the sale of the cars and money we have saved, but would rather not plunge for a more expensive vehicle until we bought a home.
