Either way, I’m thinking of possibly a Britax or Radian XT brand for me. There are so many things to consider, including whether I want an infant seat or convertible seat and if I want it to be compatible with the stroller. On the used market electric cars are a steal for the same reason to. A new gen leaf will be a top contender for me if the prices fall dramatically when lease turn ins flood the market. You get cheap commuting/errand driving within your electric range. You get the same go anywhere fuel anywhere road trip capability. Cost splits the difference between EV and ICE, but you still get a fairly large tax credit. I chime in here because I have extensive experience with both. The M235/240 has a superior powertrain. It smoother, less peaky, and revs more freely. Body control is also superior on the BMW through the corners, but it does ride harsher than the Benz due to the short wheelbase. The Benz has a hugely superior EPS system and turns in sharper, making it feel like a more aggressive car. The BMW is a lot more playful in the corner, though, where the Benz can be overly neutral.
