The point of an attainable dream car IMO is that it a stretch for you to get it, you have to make sacrifices, but you get the car anyway because it the car you been dreaming of for ages. For one person that might be saving up for years to buy a new sports car. For another it might be buying a cheap ratty version of the car they want and spending their own time building it into exactly what they want. But the point is that they put time and effort into it, because it their dream.
