I would say pretty much everyone has a problem with those who work or abuse the system I have definitely run into those people. I freely admit I judged a woman a few weeks ago who I know is on medicaid that I heard in the waiting area talking to another gal about how they were both getting as much as they can off the government, it was hard not to when she was parked next to me in a new escalade smoking while visibly pregnant and knowing her plans to go to disney (and her complaint that some casino stopped taking her assistance card) from her loud chat in the small waiting room.
I think there is too much fuss going on about, but since you commented you might as well admit yours kinda was wrong there. You think basketball but there is volleyball, some think tennis but there is ping pong. Making same advance ladders in two different sports and similarsing them (in whatever, prize $, or reward potential) does not guarantee less popular to suddenly become on par with the other.
How the Pacer was ConceivedConceived from the inside out the Pacer was designed to be small but roomy, as the company blurb said, “Because Pacer is the first wide small car, it’s also the first small wide car.” In other words the car would offer the handling and manoeuvrability of a small car while giving the benefit of the interior space normally only found in a large sedan. And it that respect it succeeded.
So why does it make sense? Well it is open, and non distracting. Perfect for when autopilot is driving you. The screen is odd at first (i actually disliked it) but now. everything else feels cluttered. Their designers knew what i wanted before i did imo. It will grow on you. Plus the materials i love the vegan leather so soft and a great feel, better than real leather in durability, maintenance, cleaning, look and touch.
High resale value. A Mini brand car has a pretty good resale value, assuming the car is in great shape and has no problems with it. If and when you decide to get rid of your car, you will earn more back than what you would with other vehicles. I tend to change cars every five years, and while I may not with my Mini, having a high trade in value is definitely a bonus.
Would you let a 12 year old drive your car?Jump to Last Post 1 15 of 15 discussions (32 posts)My 12 year old recently went on a camping trip with some of his dads friends. While on this ‘camping’ trip the following happened. The old ladys grand daughter was ‘upset’ so the woman gave her car keys to my son and told him to take her grand daughter for a drive.
Some people will say that you can just go to your fire station or police department. You can’t! It’s best to look it up because it will tell you where you can get it checked, whether you can drop by/if they have a car seat check once a month or every couple of months/if you have to make an appointment. I live in a metro with 2.4 million people and we only have 21 places to get seats checked. Out of those 21 places, we 카지노사이트 have 2 you can stop by any day of the week at any time, 2 you can make an appointment for any time during their business hours, and the rest either have monthly/bimonthly/quarterly car seat check fairs. I had to set my appointment 24 days in advance because the children’s hospital was so booked out. I would suggest figuring out how to get yours checked soon.
Kawasaki would rather stay and dominate WSBK with Rea and the ZX 10R. Also MotoGP is much more expensive to become competitive in than WSBK. If I recall properly, there is a cap on how much work that can be done with their production motorcycles. I think it is 250k? That’s pennies compared to a prototype engine, chassis, and hiring engineering teams for the spec electronics hardware/software.Also considering the funds available for Kawasaki vs Honda, Yamaha, Ducati, Suzuki, etc, Kawasaki HQ sees WSBK domination a better ROI than becoming midpack in MotoGP for more than four times the cost of WSBK.BMW just doesn’t care for racing as much as it’s fellow manufacturers.
There was always the option to install the base with a seat belt which is what we were planning on, but the lady on the phone told me that we wouldn’t be using the base at all and that we’d just have to strap the seat in with the belt which doesn’t seem all that safe to me.
I say this as a former car dealer that it really just depends on the situation. If I were young and single and didn have a family, I would buy with the intention of fixing anything myself. However, if I had a family and kids and whatnot, the convenience of not worrying about repairs would tip the scales in the favor of the lease, even if it is slightly more expensive.
“People who have a feel for a car get into an Alpina and instantly appreciate the steering reaction, the special suspension, the improved engine and so on but equally, people who don’t have that ‘feel’ tend to getin, drive for five miles and recognise that they are behind the wheel of something different,” says Andreas Bovensiepen, son of the founder and Alpina’s co owner and chief executive. “They feel that harmony.”
5. Lexus LFAOkay, so it might not be the cheapest compact supercar around, but it definitely has been the most striking in recent times, especially when one realizes that this is a car which took almost 9 years to produce since it was conceptualized and that the company which made it was known for its stylish and clinical looking family cars.
I agree with some person here. Mercedes and BMW have their own segment. No doubt they engineered and build their car differently. In my mind BMW cars deliver sporty and elegance to their car. BMW cars’ image are perfectly match with young, spirited person who wants enjoyment of driving car in high speed and elegant way. Mercedes cars are build for people who wants to ride a comfort, high class car.
I am so shocked at these stories as related by “victims” and their relatives. Of course the victims all being so innocent. I noted no relation of the conviction rate of the victims or followup on suspensions/probation and firings of any wrong doing cop. What to we have? 5 million in jail and 5 million law enforcement personnel. Let us see, and each cop making at least two “contacts” a day? Get back to me on percentages.
While I am sure there will be mark ups on this car initially, I don think they will last if you willing to call around. The previous GT4 was only fetching $5 10k over initially. Porsche already said this isn going to be a limited production car and can be built on the same line as the 911 instead of taking up space on the normal GT limited capacity production line.
I didn realize there was GT3 cars and GTE cars, that makes sense though, I was wondering what the Merc and Audi were doing in there. So in your option I should do a season in the GT3 cars, and then move up to GTE after that? Even if I have some experience with GT3 already? I guess sticking with GT3 would let me feel out how the series itself actually works, that way I won be wrestling with learning a new faster car AND learning the series as well.
In 1984, Toyota brought out the surprising MR 2, which was very different from the practical and uninteresting family sedans that made the manufacturer successful. The first generation (1984 1989) was extremely lightweight and featured, like all generations to follow, an MR (mid engine rear wheel drive) layout more commonly found on supercars such as the Ferrari F355 and Lamborghini Countach. The combination of lightweight chassis and perfect front rear weight distribution via the mid engine layout resulted in a car that handled like a champ and didn’t need a huge engine to provide sufficient performance. The 1.6 L inline 4 only produced 112 hp but could hit 60 mph in just over eight seconds.
Crew Chief can tell you how much fuel you using a lap and how long you have left, so you simply say fuel to end and it fuel you for the end of the race and a bit over. For tyres, you can either untick them in the black box at the start of the race, or say clear tyres to Crew Chief. What would you recommend between the Merc and the Audi?I only have the Merc, but I know that the Merc is fast and pretty forgiving.
Shut the doors on those and its like a bank vault. Engines can for for 300K plus as long as you do routine services. They come in 6 and 8 cylinders. If you want to go Japanese the early 90′s LS400 from Lexus is another car that was over engineered since they were made to compete with the Germans.
This is my personal favorite vintage motorcycle. It may not be a speed demon, but it is a reliable workhorse. These bikes were made from 1960 1969. BMWs of this era were probably the best touring bikes available at the time. Many accessories were available including fairings, oversized fuel tanks, and luggage. Countless miles have been put on R60/2s, and they just keep going. The shaft final drive was quite unusual for its day, though not uncommon today. Parts availability for BMW motorcycles is generally good compared to more rare machines. These bikes are not too difficult to find today. I hope to own one myself someday.
If this kind of expense is what you really want and it and doesn impact your retirement goals, then treat yourself. There always an in between option, too. Last year I bought a new Tesla. Quite a bit more expensive that the M3, but I would not have wanted a gas car in 2018 for that level of money.
In stark contrast to the Jaguar, we have the Porsche Cayman R. Porsche is synonymous with motorsports racetrack performance, and that is exactly what the Cayman R is built for. When building the R version of its popular Cayman sports car, Porsche decided to cut weight instead of adding lots of power to achieve the desired performance goals. The Cayman R is the only member of this list under 3,000 pounds and weighs in at more than 1,000 pounds lighter than the XK R. The Cayman and the Jag are perfect foils for each other; the XK R is everything that the Cayman is not, and vice versa. While the Jaguar is immensely powerful and luxurious (aka heavy) the Cayman is underwhelming on the spec sheet (more than 200hp fewer than our winner) but is extremely focused and lightweight. One has only to sit inside the cockpit to know that the R is all about performance. To save weight, Porsche replaced traditional door handles with fabric straps. The sport bucket seats hold the driver in place during hard cornering and save 26 pounds. Air conditioning is an optional extra. On a $60,000 Porsche!
Even in traditional American motor companies such as Ford, they are using turbochargers and other lighter but strong materials to produce the more power and efficiency with less engine and therefore less fuel consumption. (For an example, look into the new 2015 mustang. Ford offers the car with an Eco boost Turbo charged I 4 engine, a traditional v 6, and a 5.0 liter v8.) Note the similarity between the 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder versions.
BMW doesn’t have to make the best EV. They really just have to make a decent one and brand loyalty can make up the rest. A big sticking point for many people coming from higher end brands is the interior of Teslas. BMW could make a decent EV with a more traditional interior. Another is service. While Tesla does have the service vans getting stuff fixed at service centres does seem to be a challenge for some people. BMW could compete there.
Driving drunk is still illegal. I advocating for the same protections I would expect for any other crime. If the police suspect you have done something illegal they need to obtain a warrant to perform a search. You cannot be compelled to comply otherwise. It that simple. This is criminal law 101.
Currently, the i3 has been sitting in the shop for 3 weeks waiting on warranty parts from the mothership the heating system leaked coolant on the primary high voltage cable. While it was still driving as normal, it had an ominous warning of a drivetrain malfunction that “should continue to drive; yet get service soon”
It’s the same story with the MK4 Roadster as with the hot rod above: All you need is an engine (Ford 289/302, 351, or 4.6l 4V V8), transmission, rear end, paint, wheels, tyres, batter, and fuel pump. All in all, this is a great little bit of kit for the money, and it’s backed up by professional service, outstanding quality, and a great price! As with the ’33 Hot Rod, expect to pay upwards of $25,000 for a completed car.
You know how to pass the slower GT3s because you have experience driving one, meaning you can predict and anticipate what they going to do at a certain moment etc. The races are also 3x the length and include a pitstop, and the guys racing the GTE cars are crazy fast no lie, they some of the best drivers on iRacing IMO.The GTE cars are also a lot, lot harder to drive.
Usually, in vehicles that have a hatchback style trunk (with an open seat back) you will find the anchor on the back of the seat and sometimes in the ceiling (for the middle seat position). If the trunk is closed, you typically find the anchor spot behind the headrest. I know you will be tired, but installing the seat properly is very important. If the person picking you up doesn’t know whet to find the anchors in their vehicle, ask them to look it up in their manual as soon as they can.
Another comment you mention a cheap series define cheap. You may find some local ish oval tracks that offer an inexpensive 4 cylinder or V8 class, which is some of the only racing aside from karting I can think of where you can run a whole season for under $10k. Knowing what kind of budget you dealing with will be helpful. There is a huge difference between what you can run with a budget of $1k or $10k or $100k.
Raiola puts the word out that de Ligt is open to a move. A bunch of big clubs come back and say “yes we interested, what sort of terms would the player be looking for?” Raiola says a 5 year contract, de Ligt to be one of the top 5 paid center backs in the world, 10% yearly wage increase, and an 8 figure signing bonus, and on top of that you have to pay me a 20m euro agent fee. Immediately some of the potential buyers drop out because the agent fee is so large, even though they may be willing to pay the transfer fee to Ajax and meet the player contract demands. Perhaps they have a club policy against paying agent fees that large or other financial controls. This obviously limits the potential market for de Ligt somewhat and means he may not get the best possible terms.
Quite frankly, I don’t understand it either. But nevertheless, McLaren’s direct rival to the 458 has shown the world that they can still churn out a serious machine for the race connoisseur who’s not really interested in ‘posing’ or flashing a brand name but prefers what can possibly be technically sound. The MP4 12C is McLaren’s 2nd road car after the McLaren F1 (the supercar which defined the 1990s) and the SLR (jointly built with Mercedes) so they had to ensure they gave it their best when releasing the usually difficult ‘third album’.
