We didn’t get a chance to “properly” install it, we put the base in there, buckled it and I held it at the right angle (according to the bubbles) from the drivers seat while DH (dear husband) tried to put the carrier in. We couldnt find a way to adjust the angle otherwise and didnt have the manual. Once in, the passenger seat went back and smashed fully into the carrier and didnt “click” into place, so the passenger seat was now dangerously loose and unlocked. :/

It was common with those cars, particularly the coupe models and if your in an accident your insurance won pay out if the car is re specced. Plus, if there high mileage I strongly reccomend you get a mechanic you trust to check out the car. Even the best petrol engines will tend to calve after 120k miles, particularly in a BMW because the youngfellas who tend to be the third owner drive the arse out of them.My advice? If your going to by any car more than 10 years old buy a diesel for reliability.

I drove a 991.2 911 before I bought the Evora. It was a very capable car that was completely soulless and uninspiring. Never been more disappointed after driving a car because of how high my expectations were for it. I am pretty positive that I don want any modern Porsche that is not a GT car (which I have ridden in on track and they are amazing). The Evora, on the other hand, feels special every time I get in it. It looks exotic, Lotus even managed to make it sound exotic, and you feel completely connected to the road when you drive it. The steering feedback and directness is unmatched, the shifter assembly is so percise and tactile, the ride is compliant with very little body roll, and that Toyota V6 sounds like it came from Italy. It not a numbers car for magazines. It simply an exceptional driver car. It still makes me smile everything I drive it.

From easiest and less is the following. A consideration many overlook is the radiator cap itself. If it does not maintain a specified pressure the system will run hotter. When water is under pressure the boiling point is raised. Many parts stores will test the cap for you for free. Caution is strongly advised to only remove the cap when the engine is cold.
